Nationwide Insurance Supports Consumer Choice In Auto Parts Posted on March 25, 2010 by admin Reply In testimony to Congress, Nationwide Insurance confirmed it’s support for HR 3059/ S 1368. The bill would allow for an exemption on design patent law when it comes to auto parts. If manufacturers are allowed to enforce patent restrictions on parts, the use of Aftermarket parts would be in jeopardy thus the cost of auto body repair would rise due to the higher cost of OEM parts.
