When vehicles hit a deer, the deer is often killed but serious damage to can happen to those who are driving as well. I found an article about a body shop owner who earns about a quarter of his income fixing damage done to vehicles by deer impacts. He’d fixed quite a few but just recently he hit a deer himself and is now fixing his own vehicle. Deer impacts are a problem that comes up around this time of year annually.
