The controversial Cash For Clunkers government program is off and running and here’s two articles which discuss it. After personally speaking with a dealership manager regarding the program, his first statement to me was… “It’s great for business but the paperwork is like two inches thick!!”  That’s the government for you!   Keep in mind, it’s Taxpayer money that is giving these rebates.

Well, across the pond in the UK, a recent survey was done. While pricing made up 55% of the reason, the following key factors weighed in.  Use of a foreign call center, poor claims management and poor customer service all came in next!  Probably not much different than the U.S. except for foreign call centers.

In this opinion piece we found, the issue of towing firms steering vehicles to certain repair shops is covered. Just as in auto damage appraising, no professional in the industry should ever steer a vehicle to a repair shop. The vehicle owner is the one who should always make their own decision.
