The ASA and SCRS both testified against the use of salvage airbags in collision repair. NCOIL evidently had a proposal that was trying to leave open the option of using salvaged airbags. All I can say is that I sure wouldn’t want to take chances with a safety item like that in my car. No way would I approve of a salvaged airbag nor any safety restraint system part that was used.
