Recently we have been beginning to read more articles that the hybrid craze is starting to subside. Whether this is a fact or not, we’re not sure.  Just out is a report though, that documents sales of the Prius have dropped 45% in 2009 so far. We were curious as to the average auto damage appraisal value of such hybrid type vehicles when they are involved in an auto claim. Here’s some averages of the most common vehicles. The overall average industry appraisal value as of June 7th,2009 is $ 2,593.92

Hybrid 1   $ 3,728.93

Hybrid 2   $4,287.25

Hybrid 3   $2,966.88
