Here’s a recent shop rate posting in the San Fernando Valley, north of Los Angeles. Rates still seem to be all over the place.

In the 1st Quarter of 2009, data pulled from all files processed through AutoClaims Direct’s industry leading DirectLink claims management system show 60.59% of all damaged vehicles are inspected at the owners residence which yields a 28.35% supplement ratio.  17.47% of all inspections are done at a repair shop with a 52.94% supplement ratio.
