S660, to allow auto insurers to cover a vehicle at a diminished value after it has been repaired, and sets up a process of insurers and owners finding appraisers who will examine the vehicle and find an umpire to render an estimate if the appraisers don’t agree. Sponsor: Sen. Bob Rucho, R-Mecklenburg.
