According to the AAIA, The Collision Repair industry grew 5% from 2006 to 2007.  The Collision Repair industry is a 41.5 billion dollar industry based on information from the AAIA study.

In an article we found on NPR, the danger of air bag fraud is alive and well.  In part of the article exerpt..

“The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued a report that reviewed 1,446 fatal crashes and found that in 255 of those cases, the air bags had not been replaced after a previous accident. That 17.6%!!
